Required Trainings | Responsible Employees | Policies

Preventing and responding to SVSH is a community responsibility.

Everyone in the UC Berkeley community must complete required prevention education.

All employees of UC Berkeley who are not designated as Confidential have notification obligations.

Click on an option below to find information about completing your requirements as a member of the UC Berkeley community.

The majority of our community believe strongly that they have personal responsibility to intervene to prevent sexual assault, and believe strongly in individual sexual autonomy (according to the results of the 2018 MyVoice Survey). Required trainings and responsible employees are important, but we can aspire to much more. To go beyond the requirements, and get involved in prevention with your community, check out our Ways to get Involved or Workshops | Consultations pages of this website.
