About the SVSH Advisor Office

The position of Special Faculty Advisor to the Chancellor on Sexual Violence/Sexual Harassment ("SVSH Advisor", currently held by Professor Sharon Inkelas, was created in 2017 on the recommendation of the Chancellor's Senate/Administration Committee on Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment. The SVSH Advisor reports directly to the Chancellor.

The faculty member who holds this position serves as the campus lead for the University’s efforts in providing a safe working, learning, and living environment for students, faculty, and staff that is free from gender-based discrimination.
